We suggest that you contact the manufacturer of your pacemaker and inquire about whether your pacemaker is susceptible to RF emissions consistent with the frequency of our device. LivingWell Companion Go emits a radio frequency (RF) of 850 and 1900MHz associated with standard 2G and 3G cellular communication, and it is in compliance with FCC Part 15 restrictions, including those for radiated emissions.

Once an alert is triggered, our trained operators will engage in a 2-way call with you through the speaker in your device (base unit for Home; mobile pendant for Go). You may hear a series of beeps before the connection occurs.

The fall detection 'sensing' comes from data gathered by an array of sensors located in the device including multiple accelerometers, a magnetometer and a gyroscope. These sensors capture data that yield over 190 different parameters, such as orientation change, impact intensity and impact speed. If the analysis determines that a fall has occurred, an alert is automatically triggered. The automatic fall detection feature might not detect all falls. If you do fall, do not wait for the automatic call, always press and hold the button for help when possible.

LivingWell Companion Go comes in a durable highly waterproof shell that's splash and rain-resistant. It's not suitable for extended and continuous water submersion. For showering or bathing, we recommend you wear the device on your lanyard or set it on the edge of the shower or bath area, so that it is within reach.
