Sonya Lockyer

Having spent the past 20 years working with some of Canada’s leading private and public healthcare organizations, Sonya is a proven leader in the healthcare sector who is focused on empowering teams and driving cultural transformation to deliver exceptional patient experiences.

Sonya currently oversees TELUS Health Care Centres, Pharmacy, Corporate Wellness and Mental Health Services across Canada, ensuring a continued focus on transformational priorities and growth. Her focus on empowering teams to “build innovation into their day” is critical in shaping how TELUS Health is evolving to meet the dynamic requirements of both the healthcare system and those who use it.  

Prior to joining TELUS Health, Sonya was the CEO of Canadian Addiction Treatment Centres (CATC). Sonya powered significant growth in this role, delivering double-digit organic growth and advancing a multi-province M&A strategy that more than doubled the size of the company in three years. Sonya previously worked as a management consultant and as an executive at CML Healthcare and LifeLabs.
